However, Golfland opted not to renew its lease with Big Surf after the 2009 summer season. In 2010, full price admission to Big Surf costs $26 for adults. This is the same as last year's price; there has been no increase.The price for Big Surf kid's tickets (guests under 48 inches) is $19.50. Senior tickets (age 62+) also cost only $19.50. Kids age 2 and under do need to pay an admission, but it's only $3.00. Big Surf Discounts and dealsBig Surf does offer a number of ways to get discounts on full-priced tickets. Here are some of the ways: 1.) Big Surf late afternoon discounts: If you wait until 3 pm to enter Big Surf, your ticket will cost $19.50 instead of $26. However, since the park closes at 6 pm, you'll have less time to enjoy the water slides and attractions. 2.) Big Surf Friday night discounts: Big Surf has a Friday evening session during the summer months. On Fridays from 7 pm to 11 pm, you'll get to enjoy four hours of water park fun for only $15. 3.) Big Surf Military Discounts: You may get a military discount at the gate or online; tickets are $19.50. Police and Fire discounts are also available for $19.50. 4.) Big Surf email discounts: If you agree to receive email from Big Surf, you'll get to find out about upcoming park events...AND receive notices about discounts. You may sign up on the Big Surf website. 5.) Big Surf season passes: Frequent visitors may save money by getting the park's season pass. 6.) Big Surf Twitter and Facebook discounts: Be sure to "follow" Big Surf on Twitter. The park is actively tweeting about its latest news to its fans...AND sometimes telling you ways to get good discounts! Big Surf in Tempe, AZ is a seasonal waterpark. It opened to the general public on Memorial Day weekend (May 28th) and will close immediately after Labor Day (September 6, 2010.)2010 Big Surf hours are still simple. Every day of the week, Big Surf opens at 10 am and closes at 6 pm. Friday evening session: Every Friday, beginning June 4th, there will be a Friday night session at Big Surf from 7 pm to 11 pm.
