Both visitors and local residents alike will enjoy shopping at the Chandler Fashion Center. It's got a great mix of retail stores and restaurants, plus a Harkins stadium theater. It's attractive in appearance. Though it only opened in October 2001, it's old enough to be one of the traditional climate-controlled malls that's so cool & comfortable inside on one of greater Phoenix, Arizona's many 100+ degree days. (Open-air malls are the rage in 2007, of course. They're the only type of shopping being built this year...and though they're cute, they make for some pretty uncomfortable shopping 6 months of the year.) And yet, Chandler Fashion Center certainly can't be called "behind the times. It has a lovely open-air section by the Harkins Theaters, where movie-goers may stroll, look at shops, and grab a snack while awaiting their showtimes.
Meanwhile, the Chandler Mall is easy to find, even for first-time visitors to the Valley of the Sun. Located conveniently at the junction of the east Loop 101 freeway and the south Loop 202 Freeway, it's easy to reach this exciting shopping mall without having to make one's way along city streets. And still one more bonus to this shopping destination is that it's surrounded by other retail plazas featuring still MORE stores, services and restaurants. In short, this Chandler, Arizona shopping venue really has alot to offer you!
