Las Vegas Christmas Lights

Here's a list of Las Vegas Christmas decorations and lighting displays!

In the slide show above, you're viewing some of the best Las Vegas Christmas Light and Decorations displays. Every year, thousands of Las Vegas residents and visitors tour the Christmas exhibits you see in these pictures: the Bellagio's Conservatory, Sunset Park's Gift of Lights, Ethel M's Cactus Gardens, the Magical Forest at Opportunity Village, and the Springs Preserve Christmas event. On this page, you'll discover the details you'll need to attend these fun family Christmas attractions.

Indoor Christmas Displays in Las Vegas

The Bellagio Hotel's beautifully decorated Conservatory will also keep you warm!

Picture: Bellagio Christmas decorations are posh; this giant rocking horse is only one of many expensive decorations and lights Visitors may be surprised that December evenings in Las Vegas get VERY chilly...but local residents are all too aware! Sometimes it's just too cold to want to plan an outdoors activity. Yet, there's only a limited amount of time that families can plan a Christmas outing. Once December has passed, all the decorations and lighting displays will be put away for another year!

So, where can you enjoy some Christmas-themed displays...without shivering?

The Bellagio Hotel's annual Christmas decorating extravaganza is a logical choice! You'll enjoy the warmth of indoors...while viewing some of Las Vegas' most posh display of holiday ornaments, wreaths, and indoor lighting. Even the PLANTS rotate for Christmas; after all, the Bellagio's Conservatory is ALSO a year-round botanical garden!

Where can you see the Bellagio's decorations? The Bellagio is located on the Las Vegas Strip at 3600 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

Bellagio Christmas Decorations Hours: The Bellagio's hours of operation are simple: 24/7. The Conservatory (not far from the hotel's front desk) is open the same hours as the hotel and casino...which means 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Bellagio Admission is Free! You may enjoy the Bellagio's Christmas display without any need of purchasing tickets. Even the parking lot is free...although, you'll probably have to circle and circle the parking garage looking for an empty spot if you want to enjoy this popular annual holiday display!

Sunset Park's Christmas Lights have moved!

The annual "Glittering Lights" display is now at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway!

In the slide show above, you're viewing pictures from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway's annual Christmas light show, "Glittering Lights." In this section, you'll find the details you'll need to plan a fun family outing to enjoy this memorable Las Vegas tradition.

Sunset Park's yearly Christmas lighting display was a VERY popular Las Vegas Christmas event---so popular that it had to move to a bigger space! If you ever went to see the Sunset Park Christmas lights during the height of the holiday season, then you know that the cars attending this popular event blocked traffic in every direction. So, to keep down the snarl...and to have room for even MORE lighting displays, the Sunset Park Gift of Lights has moved to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the north metro area. And, even the name of the event has changed: It's now called Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a bit flashier-sounding name than the former "Gift of Lights" moniker.

There's still plenty of traffic, so plan ahead! Although in a less-centralized location, the Glittering Lights display continues to attract a huge crowd. The closer you get to the holidays, the more cars STILL line up to view the 2 1/2-mile scenic drive featuring over 400 displays...containing more than a million lights total! (Fortunately, though, there is more room for all the traffic and the streets around the event don't get so clogged as before.) But, some GOOD news is that if you hate traffic, you don't have to attend Glittering Lights on the most popular days of the event (which are during the last half of December.) Glittering Lights opens very early in the season---before Thanksgiving even! Visiting early...and on weeknights...can help you avoid the longest lines to get into the park.

Picture: Las Vegas Christmas lights include Elvis Presley made entirely of holiday light bulbs! Sunset Park's Gift of Lights displaySanta's Village: In addition to the lighting display this year, there will be a Santa's Village area...complete with snow-making machines and Santa Claus! Other Christmas characters, including Frosty the Snowman and The Nutcracker will be on hand to pose with you and your kids, as well.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway Christmas Lights admission tickets: Before you enter the display area, ticket-takers will collect your $15 per car admission fee. Once inside, you'll drive around a circular loop of the park, with the lighted displays both to the left and right of your car's windows. Discount tickets: $2 coupons will be available at the event IF you bring a donation for the Goodwill with you to Glittering Lights. These $2-off coupons will also be available at all Goodwill locations in Southern Nevada; you can get one by making a donation to Goodwill.

Sunset Park/Motor Speedway Christmas Lights dates and hours: This unforgettable holiday begins in mid-November on Friday, November 18, 2011...and continues nightly through January 1st, 2012.
