The Orchard Town Center Mall is one of metro Denver's most attractive malls.This new shopping center on the northern edge of the metro area is a delight to visit. Visually, this modern outdoor mall is a treat for the eyes. Everywhere you turn, you'll find handsome architecture and decorative touches that will make your mall visit a special treat. Cute benches, playful fountains, beautiful plantings, decorative lampposts...all of these add up to one great-looking mall. The Orchard Town Center is a "lifestyle mall," meaning that there's plenty more to do here than shop at the stores. The mall's modern AMC Theater is its entertainment highlight, and kids love the dancing run-through fountains on days when Colorado's ever changeable weather co-operates. Restaurant-lovers will find some good choices here making the Orchard Mall a destination for dining and relaxation. And, of course, there are the stores; the mall features a moderate-sized list, including favorites for all ages. The Orchard Mall's physical layout is quite big. Since this mall has streets within its borders, a good way to get to know the mall is to drive through it before parking and setting out on foot. But, when you're ready to park, it won't be too much of a problem. A small amount of on-street parking teases you, but unless you come when the mall has few visitors, you probably won't find a space when and where you want one. On the other hand, the mall has large parking lots on every side. Especially on fine-weather days, walking to your destination is only a nice stroll away. It's rare to find a movie theater in Colorado which has digital projectors in every auditorium. But, the AMC Theater location at The Orchard in Westminster can make that claim!No longer will you have to hunt to find a place to see a digital 3D movie; The Orchard's AMC 12 shows both digital AND 3D digital movies. Want to watch an IMAX movie? Once again, it's no problem if you live or visit near The Orchard Town Center. The mall's AMC cinema has an IMAX auditorium, too! Other amenities at this AMC movie theater include stadium seating; soft & roomy chairs; handicap access and listening devices. If you're planning to go to a full-price showing, you'll be able to get your kids under 12 a children's discount. Seniors can get discount tickets to after-4 pm showtimes, too. NOTE: IMAX movie tickets cost slightly higher than performances held in the "regular" AMC Theater auditoriums.
