While visiting the SanTan Village shopping center, why not jump across the street to the mall & take a peek, if you haven't yet visited this exciting new East Valley mall. Meanwhile, the SanTan Village shopping center continues to be the attractive and ultra-convenient location to find a wide variety of products...just like it has been for the past year or so. Despite the mall's opening, the San Tan "power center" continues to be a great place to shop for furniture, electronics and other consumer goods...and a good place for dinner or a snack. The stores and services in both centers work well with one another. SanTan Village stores & servicesCostco and Walmart
The two largest stores at the SanTan Village shopping center are the mega-popular Costco Warehouse and Walmart Supercenter. As you're surely aware, both of these customer-magnets offer a wide range of merchandise in a number of categories. The new locations of these stores at SanTan Village won't disappoint loyal customers switching to this new location from another store.
The SanTan Costco phone number is 480-366-3950. You may use this Costco Warehouse telephone number for most of your store inquiries, including the pharmacy. However, the Costco hearing aid center has its own direct contact number, which is (480) 366-3974. Each store at the San Tan shopping center has its own street address (instead of using a "general" mall address.) The Costco address is 2887 S Market St, Gilbert, Arizona 85296. Costco hours of business are as follows: Mondays thru Fridays, Costco opens at 11 am and closes at 8:30 pm. On Saturdays, this cavernous Costco store will open at 9:30 am and close at 6 pm. Sundays, the Costo opening time is at 10 am and its closing time is at 6 pm.
The SanTan Village Walmart phone number is 480-224-6900; this is the "general" Walmart telephone number. However, there are a number of departments within the supercenter which have their own direct contact numbers. These are: Shopping hours: As noted above, the San Tan Walmart location is a 24 Hour store. However, the various specialty departments (the pharmacy, vision center, tire center and portrait studio, for example) maintain shorter hours of operation. Naturally, now that the "mall" phase of San Tan Village is open, you will have so many options for buying clothing and accessories that it will be hard to make a choice! Unlike the brand-new San Tan Mall, the SanTan Village Power Center is not meant to be a specialty area for clothes shopping. Nevertheless, there ARE several very popular shops located in the shopping center...and they're already open for business with no anxious waiting! Parents will want to note that Snip-Its throws children's makeover parties! Similar to the famous Club Libby Lu chain of "glamour shops" for girls, you may head to Snip-its to hold your daughter's birthday party. She and her friends will be turned into princesses or rock stars before your very eyes! Home stores are a specialty at the SanTan Village Power Center You'll find home stores at San Tan Village which specialize in interior decor. You'll find major electronics and appliances for the home. You'll find stores which specialize in mattresses and furniture. Some of these stores will be "familiar favorites" that you've enjoyed for years...like Bed, Bath & Beyond or Circuit City. Others are rare specialty stores that you may have never run across before---like Liz Claiborne's "CL Home Store" (photo at top of this page) or the Tommy Bahama's Home Store.
You'll find some of San Tan's home stores scattered in alongside all the other stores at the shopping center. BUT...you should also not that there's a brand-new home store area opening up within the power center. If you're looking for a good place to catch the latest flick you've got on your wish list, why not try the new cinema at San Tan Village?
The Harkins Theater has already opened at San Tan Village---and it's located in the MALL portion of the development, rather than in the power center. The Harkins movie theater at the San Tan mall features 16 auditoriums with stadium seating, extra-wide chairs, digital sound, and an elegant lobby. Now that the SanTan Village Mall is finished, movie patrons will be able to stroll along its "Main Street" style shopping area. When all is completed (not all the restaurants at the mall will be open until 2008), families planning an outing and couples on a dinner date will be pleased to find quite a plethora of dining options awaiting them at the mall. Meanwhile, a Food Court area (with casual dining & snack shops) is within a stone's throw of the theater...and there's a location of the ever-popular 50's-style diner, Johnny Rocket's coming directly across from the cinema's entrance.
